Kipware® has always been designed with ease-of-use and REAL WORLD capabilities in mind. We also strive to merge the “human factor” with tech in all our designs … designs that strive to enhance human interaction … not to replace it.
Keeping with these ideals … which have served us well for over 40 years … we are building our AI agent … KipAssist … to integrate into all our Kipware® titles. KipAssist will make Kipware® even more powerful and user friendly … while engaging and enhancing the “human factor” to help build up our fellow machinists.
KipAssist will make data entry … calculations … and results faster, easier and more accurate … enhancing everything from machining cycletime estimating to G code creation to G code conversion.
NO DATA CENTER IMPACT … KipAssist is a self contained AI agent inside our software … no internet usage required … and that means no data center usage or impact. It’s truly REVOLUTIONARY !!
As of this writing … the end of July 2026 … we will be rolling out KipAssist for all applications … starting with our KipwareCYC® – Machining Cycletime Estimating Software. KipAssist will be employed to quickly and easily estimate machining cycletime for machining features that combine multiple operations. For example … users who need to estimate time for say tapped holes … can simply input final thread information and KipAssist will calculate all operations from spot drilling to drilling to chamfering to tapping … with only this simple input. Multiple features for milling and turning operations will also be included to utilize KipAssist.
