On some controls &#8230; the command line :<br \/>\nG00G90X1.00Y-1.00Z.500<br \/>\nwould result in the Z axis not moving to the .500 position until the X-Y movement has been completed. Most CNC controls do not possess this capability and will perform the 3 axis move &#8230; X-Y-Z &#8230; all axis simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The new <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">COORDINATE SEPARATION<\/span> feature now included in Version 15.3.0 of <a href=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipwarexc\/\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae allows the user to set up a Profile to automatically separate this type of move command into two lines &#8230; with the X-Y positioning in the first line followed by the Z axis positioning command on the next on a line by itself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition &#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipwarexc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae will automatically skip over this separation\u00a0while all drilling canned cycles are invoked and active &#8230; allowing normal Z axis transitions to still be available in canned cycle command lines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A simple checkbox is provided in the G-M Code Separation area of the <a href=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipwarexc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae Profile option screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/x-y-z-separation-KipwareXC.gif\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-150 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/x-y-z-separation-KipwareXC.gif\" alt=\"x y z axis seaparation in KipwareXC G code conversion software\" width=\"830\" height=\"671\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentechinc.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment noopener wp-att-231\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-231\" src=\"http:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Conversion.gif\" alt=\"Conversion\" width=\"399\" height=\"276\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">AUTO HEIGHT OFFSET INCLUSION<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For\u00a0users who wish to auto-convert G code from CNC controls that do not utilize height offset commands to G code that requires such commands &#8230; Version 15.3.0 of <a href=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipwarexc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae can assist in these situations as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to the ability to separate X-Y and Z moves as outlined above &#8230; users now have the ability to set the <a href=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipwarexc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae Profile up to automatically insert any user defined height offset G code command during\u00a0the first Z axis move after a tool change &#8230; and also have a\u00a0corresponding H offset call command inserted either with using the current tool # or with a default 00 value.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For example &#8230; original G code\u00a0formatted :<\/p>\n<p>T01<br \/>\nM06<br \/>\nG90S1200M03<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">G00X1.000Y-2.000Z1.000M08<\/span><\/p>\n<p>can be automatically re-formatted by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentechinc.net\/KipwareXC.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae to read :<\/p>\n<p>T01<br \/>\nM06<br \/>\nG90S1200M03<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">G00X1.000Y-2.000M08<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> G43Z1.000H01<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The conversion will be done ALL AUTOMATICALLY by <a href=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipwarexc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KipwareXC<\/a>\u00ae during the conversion process.
