To assist user that need to employ cutter comp commands outside the canned cycle contour &#8230; or who wish to eliminate cutter comp altogether when roughing but still employ it in finishing &#8230; this new release will address these issues.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-747\" src=\"http:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1052\" height=\"739\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1.jpg 1052w, https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1-768x539.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1-1024x719.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1-24x17.jpg 24w, https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1-36x25.jpg 36w, https:\/\/kentechinc.com\/kipware_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/image1-48x34.jpg 48w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1052px) 100vw, 1052px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The SETTING above allows the user to select from -3- options to set the cutter comp command when ROUGHING :<\/p>\n<p>(1) Turn cutter comp off &#8230; no G41 or G42 command will be issued during roughing &#8230; it will still be commanded during finishing.<\/p>\n<p>(2) OUTSIDE the Cycle &#8230; will cause the G41 \/ G42 command to be executed prior to the roughing canned cycle command lines.<\/p>\n<p>(3)\u00a0INSIDE the Cycle &#8230; will cause the G41 \/ G42 command to be executed after the roughing canned cycle command lines for controls that can accept that format.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of the above roughing setting &#8230; G41 \/ G42 commands will be executed during finishing in the normal format if cutter comp on is selected in the turning operation.
