This chapter will outline the options to convert arc and full circle commands in KipwareXC®.
KipwareXC® offers multiple arc center conversion options. R commands can be converted to INCREMENTAL or ABSOLUTE I J or K commands.
The conversion can also go the reverse by converting incremental I J or K command to a letter address. That letter address can be defined by the user based on their requirements.
Absolute or Incremental I, J and K commands can be converted to the opposite for milling G code and absolute or incremental I and K commands can be converted to the opposite for turning G code.
There are also additional arc and full circle conversion options for X Y milling G code.
When arc movements are contained in the original programs, KipwareXC® can convert that movement into arc quadrant segments. Either arcs using absolute or incremental commands can be configured.
When full circles are contained in the original programs, KipwareXC® can convert that movement into arc quadrant segments. Either circles using absolute or incremental commands can be configured.
